Know about the poles? The Arctic? The Antarctic? Ice does float or not? Land of midnight sun? Blog by Bismuth Blogs Company.

The Poles Earth's polar regions are harsh habitats. The land animals here are warm blooded, which means they keep their body at a constant temperature that is higher than that of their surroundings.  The Arctic The Arctic lies around the North pole, with most of the region taken up by the Arctic Ocean. Large sheet of ice cover much of the Arctic Ocean. The Antarctic The South Pole is in the middle of a continent: Antarctica. Ninety-eight per cent of Antarctica is covered by ice. Ice does float! Icebergs are huge pieces of floating ice, but what you see is really just tip of an iceberg. This makes them very dangerous to ships. Land of midnight sun Polar regions stay light for 24 hours a day in summer, but they remain cloakad in darkness in winter. This is because of Earth's orbit around the sun. What is actual space? | Why is space so dark? | Is that space? | Bismuth Blogs Company

What is actual space?  Space holds many secretes. It contains places where human beings can be stretched into spaghetti shape, or boiled, or frozen solid: that's why astronauts wear protective clothing in space. Welcome to a mysterious - and endless fascinating - world. What is space? When people think of space, they think of: 1. Weightlessness - everything floats as if there's no gravity 2. Nothingness - vast area of space is completely empty 3. Stars - every star is a burning ball of gas. Our sun is a star 4. Astronauts - people who explore the world beyond our       Earth 5. Rockets and satellites - are what scientists use to       explore space  6. Silence - there is no air in space, so there is absolutely         no sound    Is that space? On a cloudless night, you can see thousands of stars. Space is the name we give to the huge empty area in between the atmosphere of stars and planets. Apart f...
